Baptisms
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is offered to all who are interested in belonging to the Community of Christ. Please contact the church office to make arrangements. Weddings Marriage in the Church is for baptized members. Premarital instruction is required. Funerals Burial from the Church is the right of each Christian. Planning forms are available at the church office. In event of the death of a family member or beloved friend, please contact the church office. Hospitalization If you are hospitalized and desire prayer or a visit, please inform the rector or church office. Parishioners are also very happy to assist you and your family in whatever way they can. Hospitals do not inform clergy of their parishioners' hospitalization and we rely on family and friends to inform the church. Other Sacraments Rites such as House Blessings, Unction (Anointing with Oil and Laying On Of Hands for Healing) and Confession are offered by the clergy of the church. The rites of Confirmation and Reception into the Episcopal Church are administered by the bishop of the diocese to confirmands after they complete confirmation classes. |
Each year pets are blessed in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
